Titanium
Titanium is a transition metal with a unique combination of properties: it is as strong as steel, but 45% lighter. Furthermore, it forms a protective oxide skin making it immune to many forms of corrosion, especially in seawater.
Key Properties
- High strength-to-weight ratio
- Fully corrosion resistant in seawater
- Non-magnetic
- Biocompatible (Grade 2)
Industrial Applications
Titanium wordt veelvuldig toegepast in industrieën waar betrouwbaarheid essentieel is. De unieke eigenschappen maken het onvervangbaar voor:
Veelgestelde Vragen over Titanium
What is the difference between Grade 2 and Grade 5?
Grade 2 is commercially pure titanium, excellent corrosion resistance and good formability. Grade 5 (Ti6Al4V) is an alloy with aluminum and vanadium, significantly stronger but harder to machine.
Do you supply Titanium nuts and washers?
Yes, we supply the complete package of fasteners in Titanium: bolts, nuts, washers, and threaded rods.
Is Titanium magnetic?
No, Titanium is paramagnetic (practically non-magnetic), which makes it suitable for MRI scanners and other sensitive equipment.
Need Titanium fasteners?
Send us your request for Titanium Grade 2 or Grade 5. Fast delivery and certificates guaranteed.
Beschikbare Titanium Grades

Titanium Grade 2
